Bats
Nothing in the equipment market has anywhere as much smoke and mirrors than the bat and its creation. Companies will contradict each others and themselves by accident and on purpose in order to convince you that they are doing something no one knows about and it will result in a better product. Well our take on this is quite simple, you take the best possible raw materials, add the finest knowledge gained by heritage and experience and add in new thinking and a willingness to truly improve every area.
Our bats are made from English willow cleft produced from tree's we have overseen the felling and riving of clefts. We have dried them over the past year slowly without forcing to produce a balanced cleft with no wet spots inside. We have then machined the clefts to a usable size and then fit a handle from a selection we have according to the desired flexibility required. The bats are then shaped, pressed and finished by hand as we find this, in our opinion, is the easiest way to attain the desired quality. We have set shapes in our range but they will all differ slightly due to the nature of willow and the hand shaping, no shape costs any more than another to make and so we offer a full bespoke bat at the same price as an off the shelf version.
Every stage of the bat production is geared to performance, even the fine sanding, waxing, polishing and decals are designed to boost your confidence and give you a positive mental approach before a ball has been faced. We all know the feeling you get when choosing a new bat, and how good it feels the first time in the nets and the satisfaction from scoring a boundary, we aim to take those feeling and amplify them by ensuring the absolute maximum performance from every single bat we sell.
