When looking for the BIG profile heads will be turned and bowlers noses put out of joint. The original Big Bertha howitzer had a range of 7.7 miles which may be a touch beyond this model but when you hit the ball cleanly you might not think so. Huge edge, huge middle, huge sweet spot, in fact there is more a sweet face than a spot. Available in quite reasonable weights all the way up to 5lb+ this is the bat for those who use a large profile, enjoy humiliating the bowlers or plainly despise running between the wickets. The spine builds steadily and never drops off too far from the apex, the edges inflate rapidly and look like you could use them for driving themselves and no scooping of the back allows the sheer size to remain daunting to those facing this bat in combat.
The pick up on this model is always smile inducing, some feel that there is trickery involved to keep the balance so light when faced with a wall of willow but we are happy to confirm that this bats conforms to all MCC laws.
